Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest

The Davis School District Educational Equity Department and Equity Committee invites all K-12 students of Davis School District to enter the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest.

Students will have the opportunity to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King and what they can do to make a positive difference.

Speeches must be memorized. Students may deliver their speech in a language other than English.
Each student must provide judges with a copy of their speech in English.

The four categories are: Elementary grades K-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6 and Junior and High School.

Mountain View Elementary School will judge one student from each class.

One winner for each category will advance to the District Judging.
