MLK Jr. Speech Contest
The Davis School District Educational Equity Department and Equity Committee invites all K-12 students of Davis School District to enter the 2019-2020 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest.
Students will have the opportunity to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King and what they can do to make a positive difference.
Speeches must be memorized. Students may deliver their speech in a language other than English.
Each student must provide judges with a copy of their speech in English.
The four categories are: Elementary grades K-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6 and Junior and High School.
Mountain View Elementary School will judge one student from each class.
One winner for each category will advance to the District Judging.
